These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of this website (jesbrowning.com) and to coaching sessions, circles and other services offered by Jes Browning ("I", "me", "my"). By using the site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or services.

1. Who these services are for

My services and this website are for adults aged 18 or older. By booking a session or joining a circle, you confirm that you are at least 18.

2. Coaching is not medical or mental health treatment

I offer coaching and education in embodiment, sexuality, Qi Gong, hypnosis and meditation. I am not a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist or other licensed health professional, and my services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or counselling. I don't diagnose or treat any medical or mental health condition.

Please consult a qualified health professional about any physical or mental health concern, and before making changes to medication or treatment. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, contact your local emergency services right away.

3. Your responsibility and participation

You take part voluntarily and are responsible for your own choices, actions and results, during sessions and afterwards.
Breathwork, Qi Gong, movement and hypnosis are generally gentle, but tell me about any health conditions, injuries or concerns. You can pause or stop any practice at any time.
Coaching is an educational and conversational service. I don't offer hands-on bodywork or any sexual services.
Sessions are guided by your goals and your consent. You can decline any exercise or topic without explanation.
Results vary from person to person, and I don't guarantee any particular outcome.

4. In-person sessions

In-person sessions take place in my private home studio in Nanaimo, BC. The address is shared when your session is confirmed. Please arrive sober and on time. I reserve the right to end or decline a session if I believe it isn't safe or appropriate to continue.

5. Booking, payment and cancellations

Rates and packages are shared on your free intro call or at booking, and are payable in Canadian dollars at or before the time of booking unless we agree otherwise.
Rescheduling and cancellation: please give at least 24 hours notice. Sessions cancelled or missed with less notice may be charged in full.
If I need to cancel or reschedule, you'll be offered a new time or a full refund for that session.
Prepaid packages are non-transferable and should be used within 6 months of purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
Refunds for unused sessions in a package are at my discretion and calculated at the single-session rate.

6. Men's circles

Circles are group experiences. Participants agree to keep what others share confidential, to respect each other's boundaries and consent, and to follow the circle agreements. I may ask someone to leave a circle if their behaviour makes it unsafe for others.

7. Confidentiality

I keep what you share confidential, as described in the Privacy Policy. The exceptions are where disclosure is required by law, or where I believe there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or someone else.

8. Website content

The content on this site, including text, photographs, practices, the guided video and the downloadable guide, is for general educational purposes and is owned by Jes Browning unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to use free resources for your own personal practice and to share links to them. Please don't copy, republish or sell them without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jes Browning is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this website or services. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service the claim relates to. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Links to other sites

This site may link to third-party websites. I'm not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

12. Changes

I may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site or services means you accept the updated Terms.
